Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)Q: Is it better to discharge (flatten) the battery before recharging it?A: Unlike many other batteries the Powervamp and Odyssey batteries are designed for deep cycle operations. However, the depth of discharge (or how flat the battery is) has a direct relationship to the number of cycles the battery can be recharged. As a guide, if these batteries are discharged by 10% then they can be cycled (recharged) up to 2000 times. If however they were discharged by 80% then they can be cycled up to 280 times. Therefore, to extend battery life, it is better to recharge them as soon as possible and not wait until they are fully discharged.
