Q: What is the "CCA rating"?


A: The Cold Crank Amp (CCA) rating is the number of amperes that a battery can deliver for 30 seconds at a temperature of zero degrees fahrenheit, until the terminal voltage drops below 1.2 volts per cell or 7.2 volts for a 12 volt battery.
